Cropguard, a leading provider of specialty crop insurance insights, faced a critical need: validating market interest for their innovative new product, CropTalk, while simultaneously maintaining strong relationships with their existing customer base. CropTalk, a groundbreaking tool designed to be the AI assistant for crop insurance experts to streamline access to difficult and complicated crop insurance data needed to answer strategic questions for growers and providers alike. They wanted its beta launch to maximize adoption and ensure long-term success.
Beta Launch Strategy:
- Designed a phased beta program to target high-value users and gather actionable feedback.
- Developed targeted outreach campaigns to build anticipation and drive sign-ups for the beta launch.
- Build out explainability materials to help teach users the power of what was at their finger tips
Customer Relationship Management:
- Implemented a communication plan to keep existing customers engaged and informed about CropTalk while emphasizing its value as a complementary tool to existing solutions.
- Created tailored content and training materials to ensure a seamless user experience for early adopters.
Feedback Loop:
- The most important part of any experiment is the feedback and we created in depth analytics to measure our success and provide feedback generously to our development teams who were improving the product
The Results:
Our strategic involvement led to a significant increase* in interest for the beta launch of CropTalk, reaching Cropguard’s initial projections 4 months ahead of schedule. The product’s strong debut not only validated market interest but also reinforced Cropguard’s reputation as an innovator in the crop insurance industry. By balancing growth with customer retention, we ensured that CropTalk launched with momentum and positioned Cropguard for future success.
